I joined EDM Group as CEO in 2006 knowing that it was a first class company which historically had delivered leading edge document management solutions for some of the UK’s most prestigious organisations, such as the Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide Building Society, Companies House, and Avis car rental. I also knew that the company was still ambitious, and had the financial backing to make those ambitions a reality.

Now, in 2010, EDM Group has extended its services and solutions portfolio and made significant investments in state of the art premises and facilities. I believe we are ideally positioned to deliver the innovative, comprehensive document management solutions demanded by UK organisations.

Our customers face challenging times, particularly as the global economy slows its growth. Every day the competitive landscape is more pressured, and expectations in terms of customer service, cost efficiency and innovation are raised yet further. For many customers there is additional pressure from Government and regulators to comply with their requirements which often put document management issues under the spotlight. We work closely with our customers to understand these needs, and to ensure that our services are relevant and effective in meeting them.

By listening to our customers, we continuously refine and extend the products we offer. Our core service offerings, such as document scanning and hosting, consultancy and electronic document management systems development are augmented by value-added components. These include workflow, mailroom services and seamless scan-on-demand, enabling us to completely manage document handling and storage issues for our customers, genuinely enabling our customers to "take the paper out of their businesses".

Leading the market in this way requires flair, insight and significant investment. We have an ongoing investment programme in our services, processes, technology and – most importantly – in our staff.
