Overview of the New Starter Process
This component provides Human Resources / Personnel departments with an end to end process for on-boarding new employees and contractors from the point of identifying the successful candidate through to the end of probation.
The key features of the process are:-
- Manager’s notification of a new starter.
- Requirements for new starting including provisioning of assets and security access etc.
- Various approval steps.
- Job offer including offer letter.
- Management of provisioning by IT/Telecom and Facilities departments.
- Generation of Employment Contracts and reference request letters.
- First day start notifications to Manager and Security.
- Induction process including check list for Health & Safety.
- Self service employee information including Internet Access and DSE Self Assessment.
- Management of probation period.
- Email notifications to all involved and reminders for overdue tasks such as induction.
- Can be integrated with HR and Payroll systems.
- Check lists at key stages to ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Web Service lookup for criminal records checking (required subscription to 3rd party service).
- Admin tool to provide end user access for maintenance of all configurable values, such as locations, departments, Provisioning asset list etc.
