EDM Group has huge bureau capacity for document preparation and scanning. This enables us to capture back files and daily post in addition to providing in house scanning workstations for ad-hoc scanning using our EDM Scan software, you can even capture documents from your multi function printer/copiers. If documents include barcodes, these can be automatically read while scanning to identify document types and capture other data.

EDM Evolution Processing is an advanced suite of software modules for post-production functions including image improvement, OCR, and data capture to identify the document type and automatically initiate the appropriate business process. Where required, data can be captured manually by our offshore partners and provided as structured data linked to the business process.

Captured images and data are stored in our hosted document management system, EDM online, where they can either be accessed within the context of a business process or by searching for a document with index data.
